We specialise in providing the right people for the right event — from local venues and community events through to major concerts, sporting occasions and large-scale public gatherings.

Our Journey

How SCE Started.

Every business has a beginning. Ours started with a challenge, a few days to prepare and a determination to make sure an event could still go ahead.

2019

An Unexpected Beginning

Before SCE, founder Neil was managing the events side of a security business involved in the film industry. Shortly before a major event period in 2019, the company suddenly ceased trading.

The Challenge

A Festival Needed a Team

A client with an upcoming festival was facing the possibility of cancelling because another supplier could not provide enough staff at short notice. Instead, the challenge was accepted.

Three Days

From Hi-Vis to Event Delivery

With insurance arranged, plain hi-vis clothing, radios and a team prepared to step up, SCE took on the event. What was expected to be a one-off became the beginning of something much bigger.

Growing Through Trust

Former clients continued to choose SCE, new opportunities followed and the business grew into the crowd safety and event services company it is today.

Wages & Pay

How much do you pay?
Pay is based on job role, training and the requirements of each shift. Rates may vary depending on the position and event.
When do I get paid?
Payroll follows the SCE payroll schedule. Please check your staff communications and shift information for current payroll dates and cut-off periods.
What happens if a client pays late?
Staff payroll remains SCE's responsibility under the agreed employment and payroll arrangements.
Can I claim fuel or transport?
This depends on the specific role, event and contractual arrangements. Any applicable expenses will be confirmed for the relevant assignment.

Uniform & Equipment

What uniform do I need?
Uniform requirements depend on the role and event. SCE will provide clear instructions before you attend your assignment.
What is the uniform policy?
Staff must follow the uniform standards for their role and event. SCE-issued items should be worn as instructed.

Training

What training do I need before my first shift?
Before your first assignment you may be required to complete induction, role and responsibility training, staff conduct, systems, uniform and other relevant safety requirements.
Do you offer additional training?
SCE supports staff development through a range of relevant training opportunities, depending on role and career progression.
